PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Phase 1: Organizational Analysis

Phase 1 focuses on using qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to evaluate factors that contribute to the causes and effects associated with workplace racism. A completed analysis will provide the necessary information needed to begin the transformation as well as increase the credibility of the initiative.

Phase 2: Organizational Transformation

Phase 2 focuses on implementing a collaborative process, which ensures that the supervisor-employee team is joined together with the central focus of solving and overcoming challenges related to workplace racism. Supervisor and employees will learn how to overcome workplace and individual cultural values that often neutralize the development of positive racial relationships in the workplace.

Phase 3: Accountability

The purpose of the accountability system is to provide clear, actionable leadership coaching to the manager charged with leading the team of supervisor/employee leaders who will promote positive racial relationships in the workplace. The leadership coaching sessions are one-on-one sessions designed to discuss and develop any additional leadership characteristics and processes. The leadership coaching sessions are collaborative and provide both the coach and leader feedback opportunities to ensure the success of the project.

 Phase 4: Project Evaluation

The project evaluation process uses systemic analysis to gather data and demonstrate the effectiveness of the project. The collected information will help to communicate the program’s effectiveness which is critical for public relations and staff morale.
